A Reuters/Ipsos survey released on June 19th shows a strong majority of self-identified Democrats—62 percent—believe their party’s national leadership should be replaced. Only 24 percent oppose a change, while 14 percent are unsure. Among the 1,293 Democrats polled, nearly half (49 percent) say they are dissatisfied with current leaders, and just 41 percent express satisfaction. The findings come seven months after former Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss to President Donald Trump and less than two years before the 2026 midterms.
