Footage and reports from Tel Aviv, Israel show a large explosion having occurred in the city. Local and security sources report the explosion to have been caused by a 'suicide drone,' with a photo of a drone wing on the ground having surfaced. The strike took place approximately 350 meters from the US Consulate in Tel Aviv. Notably, no air alarms were raised prior to the attack.

The strike reportedly caused at least seven injuries, as well as one fatality according to Israel's Channel 14. Some casualties have been shown by footage of CPR ongoing on victims at the scene.

It is unclear is who is responsible for the strike, however, it should be noted that Israel earlier today carried out a strike against Ali Jaafar Maatuk, a commander within Hezbollah's elite Radwan Unit.

If the strike is from Hezbollah, which is unconfirmed, it would be the farthest south they have struck since the beginning of clashes between Israel and Hezbollah on October 8th.
